Wan Campbell PR’s goal is to create exposure that will elevate the careers and brands of those in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle arenas. Through strategic planning WCPR develops ways to ensure the brands message is effective in reaching their target market. Special attention is given to each client to build creative and compelling campaigns while encouraging them to grow. Wan Campbell PR strategically positions your brands in magazines, newspapers, radio, television and blogs. This agency seeks to not only grow your brand but create longevity. WCPR believes a brand cannot flourish without the overall message of the brand being developed.  We provide web site, promotional and branding techniques to ensure the consistency of the message.

Baltimore native, Wan Campbell learned to see the world through a different lens early in life. Determined to succeed, she saw the arts as a way out. She was introduced to the fashion and entertainment world as a child, becoming a model and dancer. Seeing that she had a knack for encouraging others to live their purpose, she decided she would dedicate her life to uplifting others.

Wan is a born motivator, whose goal is always to elevate the careers of others. Although her passion for thrusting people into the spotlight was developed early in her life it wasn’t until she attended Morgan State University as an undergraduate that her interest in the field peaked.  There she was a founding member of the student organization Access PR.  Access PR is dedicated to promoting student activities and community outreach to students, staff, the general public and the media.

She landed her first job in public relations in 2005 as an intern at 21st Century Group a prominent PR agency in Baltimore, MD. After graduating in 2005 with a B.S. in Communications, she landed a job as the Promotions Assistant at Clear Channel working on station campaigns, implementing station contest and promotions.  She worked hard to develop and maintain positive relationships with listeners, media outlets and clients.  She oversaw events as well as served as the on-site technician when on location for proper on air broadcasting.

  Though the industry showed little promise for her for several years she stayed in tuned to her passion by volunteering her services to a non-profit organization.  Through her work with them she was able to provide media relations to several community based projects including being featured in print, on radio and television. Self-proclaimed, Wan Campbell is “Mrs. Get It Done.”

Wan began freelancing in 2013 overseeing several clients in the fashion and beauty industry as well as small businesses. She’s garnered media placements in The Baltimore Time, Fox 45, WEAA, 92Q, Nail Talk Radio etc. In 2014 prior to receiving her Masters in Contemporary Communications from Notre Dame of Maryland University, Wan started Wan Campbell PR.

Wan can often be found mentoring young ladies with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, scrolling through fashion and entertainment social media sites, hanging out with family and friends or pretty much anything involving lots of laughter.
